Why do men and women sit separately in your churches? Aren’t you separating families that way? A husband doesn’t get to sit with his wife, and a wife doesn’t get to sit with her son in your services.

Reason for separation is based on holiness and concentration.
When God created Adam he first created male then female. Even though they’re both one they’re still separate entities. So the fact that the husband comes to church doesn’t mean that the wife will come also, and vice Vera. But if they both decide to go it’s not splitting families. The whole idea is that they come together when they get home. But singularity in worship is important. We are saved as an individual and not as a family. So a husband gives his life doesn’t mean the wife will also.
So if God says you shall sit separate so you can concentrate and offer your worship separately, you’ll reunite as a family when you get home.
If you sit next to your husband or wife in the service, your concentration span is zero. And secondly, your sensuality can be aroused when sitting to them.
In some other denominations sitting next to your husband or wife is allowed. Some couples hold hands in service, and there’s an element of sensuality involved. But in our church separation is required according to scripture; Paul said let husband and wife separate themselves unto The Lord for prayer and come back together after (1 Corinthians 7:5) so the devil will not come between you. And this is the principal we follow, we’re not separating families. It is for holiness and concentration.
