When can I have sex?
From youth I have been hearing no sex before marriage! A woman that I admire in church is heavy pregnant as is not yet married. Is this an example to follow? Is this allowed in Celestial ? I know people who are just boyfriend and girlfriend and they are having sex. How can you advise on premarital sex?

Dear child of God,
Everyone makes mistakes but, in all things, concerning His children God is Supreme.
Sex before marriage is not biblically correct. Paul said: “follow me as I follow Christ” (1 Corinthians 11:1). No matter what or who the person is that you admire they are just that- a person. Erupe lasan (mere dust). That’s why the scripture says in Romans 3:23 “For all have sinned and come short of the glory of God”. That includes you and I. David a man after God’s own heart struggled with sexual temptation and fell short and at times I too make grave mistakes and have to turn and apologise to those who I am mentoring- but I am just human as are you and this our flesh is weak. Saved by Grace is what we all are!
In regards to your question would never advise following any example that you can not find biblical justification for and concerning premarital sex the Word is clear:
Galatians 5:19 states :“Now the works of the flesh are manifest, which are these; Adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lasciviousness”. 1 Corinthians 6:18-20 states that we should: 18 Flee fornication. Every sin that a man doeth is without the body; but he that committeth fornication sinneth against his own body. 19 What? know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own? 20 For ye are bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, which are God’s.
Our bodies are to be Holy unto God and our biggest desire as not only Celestians but most importantly as children of God should be to fulfil God’s Will. To make Him smile. Dearest child of God, I know that at times it can be frustrating doing the right thing according to the scripture when everyone else seems to be prospering in the wrong thing but Paul knew what he was talking about when he encouraged us to:
7 Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap.
8 For he that soweth to his flesh shall of the flesh reap corruption; but he that soweth to the Spirit shall of the Spirit reap life everlasting.
9 And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not.
Sin never pays. Ever. And I know first-hand the price of sexual sin not only spiritually, but emotionally and for many at times physically. Although the Lord is Merciful, and He turns it around for our good AFTER Repentance- there are always wounds and scars. Concerning the beautiful woman of God you admire- pray for her. It is not easy being in the limelight and I am sure she too feels the weight of people’s judgements at times. No one is perfect and no one is to judge someone else. Only God is to judge. That’s why Christ Our Example said In Matthew chapter 7: “Judge[a] not, that you be not judged. 2 For with what judgment you judge, you will be judged; and with the measure you use, it will be measured back to you. 3 And why do you look at the speck in your brother’s eye, but do not consider the plank in your own eye? 4 Or how can you say to your brother, ‘Let me remove the speck from your eye’; and look, a plank is in your own eye?
God will judge every man accordingly for His own works but we too must pray that we don’t fall into sexual sin and at the same time we must lift one another up. Premarital sex is not honoured by God in the bible so we must strive to not fall into it but for our brothers and sisters who are falling, with love let us prayerfully encourage them into the ways of the Lord. In that same Galatians 6 Paul said: 6 Brothers and sisters, if someone is caught in a sin, you who live by the Spirit should restore that person gently. But watch yourselves, or you also may be tempted. 2 Carry each other’s burdens, and in this way you will fulfill the law of Christ. 3 If anyone thinks they are something when they are not, they deceive themselves. 4 Each one should test their own actions. Then they can take pride in themselves alone, without comparing themselves to someone else, 5 for each one should carry their own load. 6 Nevertheless, the one who receives instruction in the word should share all good things with their instructor.
God is truly a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him and though it is hard and this flesh is weak, let us strive for Holiness and Righteousness. If you have fallen you don’t need to stay down. Our God is a Redeemer. I fell but God strengthened me to get back on to the right track and has taught me the True meaning of saving Grace. Now my desire is to honour Him more than ever for He came for the sick. It is a privilege to be His.
Not by might, nor by power, but by the Spirit says the Lord.
Please reach out if you need us to help you pray concerning one sin or another. I understand that it is not easy on this journey and we all have our own secret faults- some of my own of which I have shared. We are to bare one another’s burdens. I need you to survive x
With Love,
