Tenets Bible References
I can’t find bible references for some of the tenets in the church, is there a reason why some of our tenets; not wearing red or black, aren’t bible related or are they? does it matter? I’ve been questioned a lot about this lately from Christians in another denomination who are trying to make me leave because of this. I’m not going to lol, but please help me understand. Thank you.

What you are referring to are the laws of Celestial Church of Christ which are 12 but come under one thing; you must be holy.
You must be holy, in holiness. God said be ye perfect. Holiness is when you partake in His chastisement. Look at the 10 commandments that God gave, “Hear, O Israel: The Lord our God is one Lord: And thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thine heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy might” (deut 6:4-5), that is the only commandment; the second is like unto it, love your neighbour as yourself. So those are a compression of the 12, the 10 commandments came out of the two just mentioned.
Holiness is the only law of Celestial. Members of Celestial Church of Christ are forbidden to engage or participate in any form of idolatry, fetish ceremony or cults, black magic and charms etc shows you are holy. Do not wear red and black, you are a people of purity, it shows you are holy. If a king is to die you don’t wear red or black, you wear white. Red and black do not connote purity. You are a royalty. In church, men and women do not sit side by side; when kings and queens sit they do not sit side by side. That is purity in holiness. When you are on your period do not come to the church, it’s about holiness, you do not want a curse to be in your blessing.
Am I right to say that not everything is biblical…Celestial Church of Christ is a spiritual church and so a lot of things are revealed spiritually to Celestians. The bible is not the be all and end all.
