broken candle

I was told to pray on a candle and then lit it when I get home but on getting home, I got angry with my partner, I was furious and whenever I am angry I dont take things easy… during that period of not taking things easy,I mistakenly broke the candle, this left me worried and not happy, I am a new in CCC and I am scared, well I told my Shepard and he told me to still go ahead and lit it but I am worried and kept on asking myself what happen if you break a candle that you have been given instructions on? pls help 🙁
